We are seeking highly creative and motivated prospective PhD students (from Fall 2023) & researchers to join the School of Computing and Information Systems at Singapore Management University.
Accepted students & researchers will pursue research in the following topics (but not limited to):
1) Human centered AI & Human-AI collaboration:
- Enabling control of and collaboration with AI
- Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, Ethics, and Reliability of AI
- Technical or sociotechnical issues related to the creation and use of AI
2) Machine Learning for Health:
- Multimodal representation learning (videos/images + texts, etc.)
- Self-supervised learning
The accepted students will receive a scholarship to cover the tuition fees and a monthly stipend.
Researchers will receive a competitive salary based on your experiences and qualifications.
